A Simple Gesture: Ashland is designed to provide a steady stream of donations to the Ashland Food Pantry by collecting food and household necessities throughout the calendar year. Local households sign up to be a food donor and are given a re-usable A Simple Gesture: Ashland grocery bag. On eight or nine (8 or 9) predetermined Saturdays throughout the year, volunteer drivers pick up that grocery bag filled with donation items from each of the donor households and leave an empty bag for the next pick up. Our volunteer drivers then deliver the full bags to the food pantry.
